Pimp My Ride |

Pimp My Ride was coined from the hit TV-show Pimp
My Ride, where Xzibit hosted a car show about "pimping" cars.
The direct translation of pimp my ride is
basically modify my car for looks and lifestyle. This does not
necessarily involve increasing performance.
Pimping a ride involves customizing wheels, paint job,
refurbishing interior, etc
It usually involves an old car that that has an up to date
facelift. Pimp is about looks, not performance and handling.
Pimp does usually however give it a little extra out of the
ordinary. The show has
seen such car accessories as fountains, coffee makers,
chandeliers, to name a few.
Pimp your ride, basically means making your car look cool.
